Roller Coaster

Good afternoon.  Here is a newer 11 x 14 watercolor on 140lb paper.  I used browns mixed with reds.  I love placing purples and blues together.  I also mixed some yellow and blues to make green.  I hope you enjoy this painting and share this with your friends and family.  Read my bio.

Sublime

Good breezy afternoon!  Holy smokes!  Really cold, ready for rain and windy!  No wonder I find peace in my studio with great music and ability to paint an abstract.  This is a 16 x 20 on 200lb paper.  This took me a couple of days to come up with the idea and place the certain blues and yellows in the certain spots.  Hope you enjoy this.  Let me know.  Check out my bio.

Color Installed

Welcome to my blog.  Here is my new 16 x 20 watercolor with a 2 1/2 white mat.  I really enjoyed placing quite a few lines in several directions on this painting.  It can really bring interesting proportions of color in different sections.  A white mat really brings these colors out.  Thanks for looking.

Elevation

Good afternoon all you painters and observers.  This new painting of mine in watercolor on 140lb paper is a 16 x 20 with a 2 1/2 white mat.  I had this painting going for several days on another sheet of paper in watercolor pencil to see what colors of watercolor would work good together or separately.  I hope you enjoy this.  Check out my blog or Google+

Round About

Here is my newest 16 x 20 watercolor painting.  It is called 'Round About".
I took several sketches of this painting and tried several different colors on a scratch piece of paper.  After several applications I chose these colors to attain the making of delivery and attachment of the colors chosen.  Hope you enjoy.  Let me know.

Pledge Of Color

Afternoon on this windy but very warm but ready for hail storms day.  This is my new 16 x 20 watercolor on 140lb paper.  I used many of the blues, reds, yellows and purples mixing them together as much as I could.  Such a fascinating treatment of the hues, combining colors.  Sometimes your new color can come out looking like "mud" as they say.   Been there done that.
Please enjoy this painting and look up the great galleries that I am in at my bio and support them by purchasing one of my paintings there.  Thanks.

Step A Side

Afternoon all you kind hearted blog viewers.  This is my new 16 x 20
watercolor on 140lb paper.  I really have an interest of orange and yellow
watercolor.  Doing my notecards daily using these two colors have inspired me to create more larger paintings with the same idea.  I really like the striking colors that can be obtained with those and blues and purples.  Hope
you enjoy.  Let me know
