Staying Loose

This is a new 11 x 14 watercolor painting.  This is in a 2" white mat.  I was excited to complete this particular painting.  I had this off to the side for about three days to gaze and view it at different times of the day.  I thought I may have to rearrange several paints but after the search I was ok with the outcome of this painting.  Thanks for viewing and please tell your friends to take a look at my work.  If you are in Cedar Rapids--Marion--or Amana I am in galleries there.  Check my story...

Good Afternoon.
Here is one of my latest watercolor paintings.  These are done on 140 lb paper.  I decided to go a size smaller to represent my paintings when the painting itself is only 11 x 14 with the 2" edge white mat.  Let me know what you think.  A friend of mine always said to make the picture large, but sometimes it seems to take away the detail that is available.  I will do some more and see what that looks like.

Good evening--well the flickering of my monitor has been taken care...Hello new monitor---
So now I can work on my blog a little bit.  Here is an acrylic that I have been working on for some time.  I needed a short break from some other work and decided to work on this.  The piece is 24" x 48".  Acrylic on canvas.  I do not have a name for this piece yet.  I will work on that later.  Hope that you enjoy and please let me know what you think.  Take care and check back....

Illusion

Good morning to you viewers.  Thank you so much for checking out my blog.  You will have to excuse me if I dont answer you soon.  The flickering is still common on my computer and the results of what to do with it will arrive shortly--I only do what I can until it drives me nuts!!  Anyway this is an acrylic painting.  I have not done an acrylic for some time.  This is a 48" x 36"  canvas.  I had some great comments on my work last week and it inspired me.   I will paint more acrylics along with my watercolors.

Good afternoon---I have had a flickering computer with no time to do this sort of thing...It still needs work to be done with it...It gives me about a half an hour now to produce a painting for all of you to see.  The tech will be over next week to totally fix it...Thank heavens!!!
This is a sample of the notecards that I do every day----I make about 3 or 4 notecards a day--It is the beginning of my 11 x 14 and 16 x 20 day in my studio....These are ready for sale at the three galleries that I am in...Check them out..They are all original--no prints!  What you get is yours only!  I will have more later when this computer stops flickering!  Check back!!
