Twilight

This is my new 16 x 20 watercolor.  It is on a white 2 and 1/2 edge mat.  I will write more about this tomorrow.  Please enjoy today....

Onward

  It is finally spring, I do believe.  No snow this weekend finally.  But it made me stay in and have a great time down in my studio.  After going to the grocery store and library and few other spots with my great wife I had to get home and finish this particular piece.  I came up with the title "Onward".  It is a watercolor and size 11 x 14 with a 2" edge white mat.  After all these years of doing my own mats I am getting the touch of it.  A new sharp blade is so important while doing the mats.  I  always change blades after every other mat or so.  I always test them often.   Thanks for viewing and let me know how I am doing.....Take care--stop back tomorrow.





 

Shuttle Fly

Welcome to my blog--I am very happy that you have taken time to view my watercolor abstracts.  This painting is a 16 x 20 watercolor that is in a 2 and 1/2 white matte.  I have named this painting "Shuttle Fly".  It is a moving piece in different directions with lines and colors.  That has become the main stay of my work.  A fellow artist gave me some instruction on my work and I have been following through with the suggestion.  It is always great to talk to fellow artists for support and ideas.  Hope that you enjoy this and hey--leave me a note or become a member on my blog!

Random Process

The snow is gone--the spring temp is on its way.....Now I am ready to put my studio out in the garage and have some warm and bright time with the sun.  This painting is a 16 x 20 watercolor enclosed with a 2 and 1/2 white matte.  Hope that you like this.  I again had a wonderful time deciding on which way the lines go or rotate and the color to use. I really went with a light green and yellow green background.  Hope that you like this one. Let me know.  Stop back soon or go the galleries lsited and purchase one of my works.  Thanks

Nestled

It is another snowy day here in Iowa...But then 40 degrees and it will all melt very soon. No wonder I love to spend time in my studio making designs and adding colors as my minds thought process intercedes with my inner feeling of abstract art!  I love this process!  This is 16 x 20 with a 2 and 1/2 white matte.   I will bring this to one of the galleries soon for them to display and sell.  Take care ..Keep on looking and tell your friends about my work.  Thanks
