New Dimension

I took a 16 x 20 watercolor on a white matte with a 2 and 1/2 edge and used larger line making utensils on this particular painting.  I am very happy with the outcome of this watercolor. I made many colors dry on the paper before I again decided to finish with the colors that I had chosen and the line making utensils.  I have always loved creating abstracts.  It is always from your mind and or soul.

Another Element

 

Good Morning
It is bright, sunny and cold outside today but excited inside to show you my new painting. This is a watercolor with the size being 16 x 20.  It has a white mat with edges of 2 and 1/2 edge.  I really enjoyed placing the different colors and lines in so many areas.  I think that is why I came up with the title of "Another Element".  Hope that you enjoy and stop back soon for another look at my work or stop at one of the galleries listed to purchase one of my paintings.  Thanks

I finished this particular watercolor today  Just thought I would bring this up on my blog for you to see and make a comment. This painting was done on  16 x 20 watercolor paper.  It will have a 2 and one half white matte placed around the painting.  It will go to a gallery soon.  Thanks for looking and check back later.

A Notecard

Good evening---Hope our prayers and thoughts reach the east coast to help all the people in the snowstorm.  That was a tragic piece of weather...Actually help everyone involved in a storm like that...

Its A Circus

 I am happy to place this new painting on my blog for you to take a peek. The size is 16 x 20 with a 2 and one half white matte. This is mixed media.  I came up with the title "Its A Circus".  We have to go in and get our taxes done today and well--you get the idea....Hope that you enjoy this mixed media painting.  I used acrylic paint as the back drop and watercolor on top of the acrylic.  It is interesting as the acrylic dries like a wax and the watercolor meanders into the areas with less acrylic and creates a great top coat of paint.  This was enjoyable.  Thanks for looking.  Join my blog if you wish--always like to know the people that are peeking at my paintings.

Up And Out

This is my new 11 x 14 watercolor.  This was painted on 140lb paper and after completion was matted behind a 2 " edge.  Hope that you enjoy this one.  Please let me know if you do.  "Up And Out" is the title.
